Our products for photo and video editing are world-class and market leaders, and we’re damn proud of it. We are now working on new creative tools to make design accessible for everyone.
Sounds good to you, aye? Then read on!
Where we work
Our office is in the very heart of Bochum, but our team is working wherever they can thrive. From Bochum over Berlin, at the seaside or beyond the hills. We give you the freedom and tools to choose where you work best. We are currently on our way to become a remote-first company. We won’t get back to the old normal, as we don’t believe in an old normal.
Why we need you
We've been quite busy lately, developing and fine-tuning our SDKs and now we are looking for a new challenge in the B2C market. We are totally into creating high-quality products, and in best case, delivering bug-free releases to our customers that are hitting the bull's eye. Therefore we are looking for you to pick up the reins, ensure quality control for our SDK products and support us in finding ways to enhance efficiency and results of our testing routines to hunt the bug(s).
Your responsibilities will be to ...
- take the ownership for our QA and collaborate with our product, developer and designer teams
- shape quality of our SDK and B2C products to ensure the delivery of bug free releases
- improve our testing processes by automating manual and repeating tasks and automate testing infrastructure with a focus on end-to-end test
- investigate, report, document and check bugs resulting from different types of tests
In addition: For us, quality assurance impacts the user experience: when things don’t work, users question their understanding and develop superstitions and inefficient workarounds. So, if you're interested in Usability Engineering, this might come in handy.
- Optional: Conduct remote and in-person user research to identify user UX problems and support our UX design team during the process
You are a good fit if you ...
... are digital-savvy, love high quality and polished products, and in best case, have developing experiences yourself
... you work structured, analyze like a Sherlock and wrap your head around complex systems quite easily
... you are comfortable working in a remote set-up, cause you are a one-of-a-kind communicator, you champion to work self-reliant and to be accountable.
If you're looking for a job, where you can bring your things to the table, leave your comfort zone and push forward your endeavors with a razor-sharp and energized team by your side - saddle your favorite testing framework and let's go bug hunting together!
